Imphal: 23rd December, 2025: A community hall of Namthankong Baptist Church at Uchiwa Kabui Village, located under Mayang Imphal Kendra, Manung area, was inaugurated by Mayang Imphal Assembly Constituency MLA K. Robindro.
The inauguration programme was attended by former Pradhan Oinam Popilon of Phabakchao Sekamaijin Gram Panchayat and former Pradhan Heigrujam Indrajit of Uchiwa Gram Panchayat, along with local leaders and villagers.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA K. Robindro said Manipur has been facing serious challenges due to violence, displacement, and the hardships of people living in relief camps. He assured that despite delays in government processes, developmental works in the constituency would continue. He also appealed for unity, peace, and public cooperation, expressing hope that the coming Christmas and New Year 2026 would bring peace, prosperity, and well-being to all sections of society in Manipur.
