Good Morning
I have observed that many young students in our community are focusing more on vlogging on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube than on their studies. But what if, tomorrow, the Government of India bans these apps—just like TikTok? Where will your efforts and time spent go then? This is why education should never be neglected.
Don’t misunderstand me—I am not saying that you should not do vlogging. But as students, education must always be the first priority. Remember, without education you cannot truly access or succeed in any media profession. Even while editing videos or traveling from one place to another, language and knowledge are very important. Without sound education and communication skills one cannot become a successful vlogger.
Just take the case of Nomadic Indian. He is a well-educated vlogger with good communication skills. He creates content both in English and Hindi; that is why he has millions of subscribers. His wide use of language has helped him connect with people across India and abroad. His example shows that education and language proficiency make a real difference in building an audience.
If you create content only in your mother tongue (Chakma), you cannot expect to get subscribers beyond your community. There is no scope for your content reaching the masses because no one will follow a vlogger who creates contents in a language they do not understand. To reach a wider audience, you need education and the ability to communicate.
Therefore, students must focus on studies first, as education provides a foundation that cannot be replaced by temporary trends. Social media platforms may come and go, but knowledge, skills, and education will remain with you for life.
